      It’s always been overvalued. How do you see a player run in 40 yards in a straight line during any given play? It almost never happens. Agility is just as important as speed and it’s harder to quantify. If you’re a track star but slow to get in and out of breaks and can’t juke or break a tackle, your effectiveness in the NFL is going to be limited.
